Sun Tzu’s The Art of War Sun Tzu’s Art of War, also known as Sun Wu’s Art of War, is the earliest surviving book on warfare in China and the earliest military work in the world, predating Clausewitz’s On War about 2,300 years, and is known as the “holy book of military science”.
